Which Printers are Compatible with Uber Eats, Doordash and Grubhub?
Each delivery app is compatible with different printers (see below in our FAQs for more information). Depending on the delivery app and model you can normally buy these printers for around $350 new, or $250 used. Amazon is a great place to find them, but we have had luck sourcing them through Ebay as well.
The Problem with Having One Bluetooth Printer Connection for all Delivery Apps
Unfortunately many delivery apps are not compatible with LAN, or Wi-Fi printers which means that you will need to have the printer next to your delivery tablets for the Bluetooth connection to be strong enough. If you have a big operation and are unable to use Bluetooth printers, we have ideas for alternatives below.
Why You Shouldn’t Use One Bluetooth Printer Connection for all Delivery Apps
Additionally, if you connect multiple delivery apps, for example, DoorDash and Uber Eats to the same printer (without an integration), depending on your order volume you may experience a high dropped order rate as the apps boot each other off of the Bluetooth connection if they are trying to print at the same time.
For example, if you are processing approximately 50 orders a day, you can expect approximately 10 of them to fail with this setup. The chits will also look quite different from each other which can prove challenging for your staff as your order volume grows.
How to Successfully Integrate Uber Eats, Doordash And Grubhub into One Printer
If connecting your delivery apps such as Doordash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub to your printer using a Bluetooth connection is not a good solution for you, you can use third-party delivery app integrations to successfully consolidate your different delivery apps.
